I am a 19 year old american university student living in cambridge for the summer, seeking employment as a part time or full time male nanny (manny).I am first aid, cpr, rescue breathing, and life guard certified. Previous work experiences of mine involving children included being a volunteer camp counselor for a church summer camp, and life guarding at my local pool in Dallas, Texas.
I am well travelled, and I consider myself cultured. I have lived in Pennsylvania, Texas, California, Germany, and now England. I am competent in German.
I just finished my first year of university at Pitzer College in Claremont, California, where I have been studying Mathematics. I am living in Cambridge for the summer with my parents, who moved here last summer. I live about 5 minutes from cambridge city center.
I am very good with children, because I am honest, fair, funny, athletic, imaginative, playful, and energetic. I am a genuine person, which puts people and children at ease. I enjoy wood working, running, futball, reading, chess, hiking, and being outside. I am a natural leader, and a hard worker.
I have my american driver's livense, but I do not have access to a car, and would not be comfortable driving here anyways. (did you know you guys drive on the wrong side here? or is that us...)
I'm currently available for any time slots possible, from a few hours a week to a full time commitment. Before accepting a job, I would like to meet the parents and children I would be nannying. I would be happy to provide my cv to anyone who requests it. I have no age restrictions, although ideally it would be very fun to have children that would enjoy playing outside and being active.
